Planning an outdoor event is exciting until you realize you need somewhere for everyone to sit, somewhere for the food to go, and a backup plan in case the sky has other ideas. That's where rentals come in. Here's your checklist.
Start With Your Guest Count
Everything flows from how many people you're expecting. Your guest count determines your tent size, how many tables and chairs you need, and how much serving space makes sense. Always plan for a few extra seats. There's always somebody's cousin.
Measure Your Space
Before you book anything, know your layout. How big is the yard or venue area? Where will the tent go? Leave room for walkways, a dance or mingling area, and the food setup. A quick sketch on paper saves a lot of headaches.
Don't Skip the Tent
Even if the forecast looks perfect, a tent is peace of mind. It gives you shade on a hot day and cover if the weather turns. Your guests stay comfortable no matter what, and you stay stress-free.
Think Through the Details
Tables for dining, plus extras for gifts, food, and drinks. Enough chairs for everyone, plus a few spares. Linens if you want the polished look. Walk through your event in your head from arrival to send-off and note everything guests will touch or use.
Book Early
Rental inventory goes fast, especially in peak season. Once your date is set, lock in your rentals. It's one less thing to worry about as the day gets closer.
